As a door closes in life another opens but we can spend so much time staring at the closed door we don't realise the one that lies open. I don't intend to stare at my closed door. So with this, I take my leave of this life of comfort and safety and set out on the road. I'm yet to know where it will take me but the World is open to me, as much as the modern world can be open, and I intend to see it all. I will miss this place, this community that is set on breaking barriers with art and expression, and I will miss the people in it. Ok, it seems most of the journals I'm writing these days consist of "Ahhh! Not been online in ages. Sorry guys. Will make a better effort to be online more often" and then of course I'm never online. At all. So, apart from the closing date for Take A View whoooshing by, a break-up which has left me pretty much down and out [I'll save all y'all the pain of listening to badly written teenage angst] and friends coming over from Ireland to visit a friend and myself. Apart from that, nothing of note has really happened. I need to wait till September to hear back from the Take a View contest and see how I did. I've also not been doing any writing
